Southampton’s South Western House, formerly known as the South Western Hotel, was recognised as the centre of high society in the 20s and 30s, entertaining famous guests from royalty and politicians to movie stars such as Deborah Kerr, with even passengers of the Titanic staying prior to its departure in 1912.
